Cooler Master is long revered as one of the best quality case manufacturers on the market. The storm range has seen the computer mouse, mouse pads, and a range of cases, if the price is a guide, the Storm Sniper Black Edition should be the top of that range. The Storm Sniper certainly isn't a cheap case. For the price your paying you expect to see a top of the line product, aimed at the PC enthusiast.
A heavy box arrives. It's Cooler Master's Storm Sniper case. The case is surround by styrofoam on the top and bottom with a large enough gap between the side of the box and the metal case. The case is wrapped inside a large plastic bag. Plenty of protection for a case being shipped halfway around the world.

The case is not only tall, it's wider than you'd think. The front has 5 drive bays, and a fan underneath, all covered with aluminum mesh, looking closer, there is a very thin second layer of mesh which should work well keeping the dust out.

The left side panel is thicker than the standard aluminum case, there is a mesh window with a 200mm fan towards the back. With alot of fans inside, this isn't the best option for noise control, but it is preferable for better cooling.

The back of the case is also black, very stealth looking. The expansion card slots are all black with ventilation holes that allow hot air around the cards to escape. The Power Supply Unit is on the bottom of this case. This should work better than the standard top PSU arrangement for cooling the case and Power supply. It can be mounted with the fan to the top or the fan on the bottom/

The right side of the case is a solid panel with the CM Storm logo.

The top cover is plastic and has ventilation mesh. The top control panel is where the most notable features of the outside of this ase are found. The large power button and reset button are almost straight aligned with the case. Next to this is the Fan controller and light switch. The cases 3 200mm fans are connected to this controlling the blue LED's.There are 4 USB slots and a 1394 in between them. Above these are a eSATA port and front mic that connects to a HD Audio and AC '97 port.

The Inside, kit contains a few extras. A manual, A Storm Sniper mouse pad, small round rubber case feet, A 5.25" to 3.5" bay converter kit, a hdd kit for 2.5" and 1.8" laptop and SDD drives, and black anodized screws different sizes for any use you'd have.
