Clear Sky is the prequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, the first person shooter with some exciting new maps and well as a revisit of the older ones. You fight your way through the game as Scar, a mercenary teamed up with Clear Sky, a research faction investigating the mysterious radioactive quicksand and monsters that lies within 'The Zone'.
The game fixes alot of bugs and has some improvements on the original, but there are still alot of problems. Walking around the environment seems realistic and suits the expectations for a radioactive wasteland. The graphics can be choppy with last year’s midrange graphics cards (even on low settings), loosing frames from time to time. A High spec machine is really needed. There is alot of the dialogue to read through at times. This can be fairly frustrating as you are sitting around catching up on the storyline instead of getting straight into the action. Rolling storylines or simple movies are usually much better than a time consuming 'choose your own dialogue' gameplay.
First Person Shooter fans will enjoy this. There are a few other titles around that are a must have, but this one certainly isn't bad.
