Commander Shepard returns as the first person in this shooter/RPG from Bioware and EA games. With great visuals, entertaining role playing and cutscenes and intense battles Mass Effect 2 has delivered us exactly what all the hype predicted.
A nice feature that is instantly noticed when starting a new game is the ability to import game files from the original Mass Effect. If you select a new characther you input character traits like personality and personal history that is reflected inside the main story. Importing Saved game files continues your hostory from the first game, meaning that the direction you took in the first game are carried into the sequal.

In the year 2183 the ship "Normandy" is attacked and Shepard, the protagonist, is rescuing the captain of the ship when it rips apart and send him into space hurtling toward an earth like planet. After two years have passed we see him revived by the Lazarus project, controlled by the Cerberus orginization as it's under attack by Security Mechs.

The Unreal Engine 3.5 has delevered another great title. The transition between gameplay and cutscenes are great, the AI is beleivable, the voice acting is great with an easily identifiable Matrin Sheen as the voice of the Illusive Man.

The game features downloable content from the official website. This includes gins and ammo, side missions and larger quests. More downloadable content is expected soon.
Mass Effect is sure to be a best seller. If you are looking for a post christmas title this one should make its way into your collection.
