The classic fighter returns in the forth installment with Street Fighter IV. The Capcom title is out now for the consoles and PC. It will be released soon on arcade making it a hot title for 2009.
There are many familiar characters this time around, with a few new additions.
Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, E Honda, Blanka, Zangief, Guile, Dhalsim, Balrog, Vega, Sagat, and M.Bison all return, plus newcomers Abel, Crimson Viper, Rufus, El Fuerte make their debut as a French martial artist with no past, a female American spy, a fat Kung Fu fighter seeking to defeat Ken, and a Mexican luchador and chef respectively. Unlockable characters include Dan, Fei Long, Sakura, Cammy, Gen, and Rose who have all stared in previous Street Fighter games.

Each character has a light story with some brief anime, some console versions have a bonus disc featuring an animated movie (Collectors edition). There is some downloadable content available such as Championship Mode, which is free, as well as Costume packs including the Brawler pack, Femme Fatale pack, Shoryuken pack, Shadaloo pack and the Classic pack.
Online Multiplayer is available with Games for Windows Live and Steam. There is a built in voice chat. Sadly there is no cross platform support so PC users can only connect to other PC's.

Street Fighter IV is a fun way to spend a lot of time. If your stuck for a game that wont offend to much as far as violence, this is a worthy title. After the Mortal Kombat arcade was released, this game lost alot of appeal. How much enjoyment you get out of it really depends on whether you like this style of game.
