EA Sports bring us the newest soccer title FIFA 09. With several titles in the series under the belt, Electronic Arts has had the ability to perfect the game over time. Many new improvements have been promised for this release. Better player response time, player positioning, smarter AI, as well as improved weather and time features.
The latest shading and lightning techniques have been used to create better visual effects than any other previous FIFA release.
There are 61 different tournaments you can play; most of these are real licensed bouts with the added ability to create your own.
There are more than 500 teams from over 30 different leagues included meaning many of the major countries are represented. Some of the most famous stadiums are featured, including St. James Park, Old Trafford, Wembley and Stadio San Siro.
Fans of the FIFA series won’t need convincing to buy this title. Newcomers to the genre won’t take to long to become addicts. Good fun.
