If you have a HTPC (Home Theater PC) or regularly use or stream movies throughout your house you may have noticed how Windows Media Center shows your movie selection as colored text boxes without thumbnails.
There is a solution to this, it might not be the same as your regular folder structure, but for computers that use Media Center, this is a great idea that looks really neat.

Download file2folder from below. Copy it to the folder that contains all your .avi movies and run it (eg. Z:/movies). It will make a folder matching the movies file name and copy the movie file into that folder. Go onto the internet and download the movies poster and save it into that movies folder. Rename all the movie poster to folder.jpg and resize them all to a smaller size as this will take longer to load in Media Center.
The second option is to use YAMMM. Download it below. Yammm will connect to imdb.com and download an image and synopsis of each movie to view in Media Center in an XML file. You will still need to have a folder for each movie in your movies drive or directory. (Note: As IMDB changes their website from time to time, make sure you keep Yammm up to date). Set up Yammm as shown:
