Right Click Computer, select Properties, select Advanced System Settings on the right side of the window. Click on the Remote tab.
Under Remote Assistance, tick the box next to Allow Remote Assistance connections to this computer. Click Apply then OK.

To Connect to Another Computer
Click the Windows Orb, then All Programs, select Remote Desktop Connection. Enter the Computer Name or IP address of the computer you are connecting to. For more options, click on Options

To Enable Remote Connections to a Computer
Right Click Computer, select Properties, select Advanced System Settings on the right side of the window. Click on the Remote tab.
Under Remote Assistance, tick the box next to Allow Remote Assistance connections to this computer. Click Apply.
Click Advanced.
Tick the box next to Allow this computer to be controlled remotely.
Click OK
next to "Allow his computer to be controlled remotely."
Click OK

You will also need to configure your routers firewall to allow connection on port 3389.
Changing the Default Port Number
To change the default port number (3389), click the Windows Orb, type regedit and press enter. Navigate to (HKLM) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\TerminalServer\WinStations\RDP-Tcp\PortNumber
Configure your router to forward Remote Desktop Connections to the port you used.
When connecting to the computer, use that port number. For example: 169.123.456.78:65000
