How to Uninstall Programs

To remove a program from computer, follow the steps that apply to you:

XP:
Click Start, then click Control Panel.
When the Control Panel window opens, double click Add or Remove Programs.
From the list scroll down to the program that you want to remove, and then click Remove.
If you recieve a prompt to confirm the removal of your program, click Yes.

Vista:
Click Windows Vista - PC Offensive to open the Windows menu, then click Control Panel.
When the Control Panel window opens, double click Programs and Features.
From the list scroll down to the program that you want to remove, and then click Uninstall.
If you recieve a prompt to confirm the removal of your program, click Yes.

It might also be possible to remove a program from the Start menu. ClickStart, then Programs, navigate to the folder containing the program that you want to remove and look for an uninstall command.
