Cables
Cable clutter can restrict essential air flow around the case. Hiding the cables out of site not only makes the case look neater, it also helps with keeping parts cool like CPU's and Video cards. Simple tricks to stealth the wiring can be as simple as hiding it behind the motherboard tray or behind the drives.
Fans
There are hundreds of different fans on the market. Low decibel, barley audible fans; high speed airflow fans; RPM controlled; LEDs and UV reactive, in variety of colours and sizes as well grills and mesh can be added on top of the fan.The right fans can really improve performance as well as looks.Lighting
Adding a little lighting can be as simple as adding some LED fans, or, you could ass some cold cathode Fluorescent Lights (CCFL) that come in several sizes and colours that simply plug into the power supply the same as any hard disk or DVD drive. Ultra Violet CCFL's can give those cables some extra glow for added looks.
Cases
The right case can last for several upgrades. There are a lot of manufacturers these days that make cases with modders in mind with deliberate places to hide wires, windows, and smooth clean aesthetic looks.
